
Sagar, as a non-government organization, was established in January 2006 under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 with the aim of protecting and promoting the tangible & intangible cultural heritage, tourism, education, health and social development of all geographical pockets of India.
It includes both scholars and practitioners, who collaborate with a wider community in generating critical research insights and knowledge in the field of art, culture, archaeology, anthropology and heritage conservation.
